Our shelter

There are four former street children living at our shelter "Sisi Sote" and they receive all the care that children are entitled to: Love, food, education, sports and recreational activities, but also important life-skills in preparation for their independence.

The shelter is run by our Tanzanian team members under supervision of the local Government.

Our Dutch team members are responsible for recruiting volunteers and funds.

Carmen & Dirk are also the ones who cover all monthly costs, with or without donations. 

Our team members in Tanzania receive a monthly compensation for their work; The Dutch team members do not receive any compensation.  All donations we receive go entirely to the benefit of the children.

Sisi sote is a non-profit organization. If you want to support us with clothing, shoes, writing materials, sports equipment, bed linnen, curtains, furniture, a well-functioning 2nd hand laptop or if you are willing to set up a crowdfunding for us or share our existing crowdfund-page among your friends and family members, you will help us enormously!
