How are you? Welcome! Welcome to the website of the Sisi Sote. In Swahili, the official language of the country of Tanzania, Sisi Sote means "We together". We are a foundation dedicated to underprivileged children in the town of Iringa in Tanzania. These children are mainly boys who live on the street. The reasons vary. Some children's parents have died. Other family members are too poor to take the boys in. Other children have voluntarily run away from home because of, for example domestic violence. Going back home was not an option for these children. A life on the street was better for them than living at home. We are trying to make a difference for these children. Large parts of the costs for the basic necessities of life are paid out of our own pockets and therefore we are happy with any amount donated, no matter how small it may be!
